The annual Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) carnival is upon us. KCCA Festival is taking place this Sunday. Several roads will be closed to allow revelers have a great time.
But that is not all. The biggest news is that during this year’s carnival, fans will have access to free wifi. This has been confirmed by the National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U). In a tweet, NITA-U Executive Director James Saaka noted ” Partnering with KCCA to provide free wifi during the KCCA City Festival.
This year’s theme colors are Black, Yellow and Red.
Majority of Uganda’s top artistes will be among the over 200 Artistes expected to perform at the different stages.
This year’s festival starts on Saturday , 1st October with a motor rally featuring top rally drivers.
The annual Kampala Carnival is organised by KCCA and sponsored by several companies. It is aimed at celebrating Kampala and also reflect on how to further move it forward. Entrance is FREE.
