Irene Ntale


    Irene Ntale (born 30 January 1989), is a Ugandan musician, songwriter, and guitarist; who has progressively made her mark as an amazing female artist. Ntale sings RnB, reggae, Afrobeat and soul music.

    Born to Mr. George William Ntale and his wife, Irene Ntale started singing in a church choir where she also learnt how to play the guitar. Irene went to Kitante primary school, Kitante Hill School for O-level and Makerere High, now Migadde College, for A-level.

    She graduated with a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management degree at Kyambogo University.

    Irene Ntale is signed to Swangz Avenue. She has collaborated with some of Uganda’s most favorite artists such as Bebe Cool in Love Letter and Addiction, Radio and Weasel in Bikoola and Jose Chameleone among others.   She has released singles such as Gyobera, Omukwano Gwe Kiro, Stay with me and Sembera. Irene Ntale is a proud multi award winner who won Best Female Break through Artist, at the Prestigious HiPipo Music Awards #HMA2014, Best Male REGGAE Song “Love Letter – Bebe Cool and Irene Ntale”, Best Zouk Song “Gyobela” HiPipo Music Awards 2014, Mountain Dew Buzz Teeniez Awards Teeniez breakout artist 2014, and Mountain Dew Buzz Teeniez Awards Teeniez Rn’B artist/group 2014.

    On Friday 26th August 2016, Irene Ntale held a successful maiden concert dubbed ‘Date Night’ at Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala.
