FUFA; the Federation of Uganda Football Association’s official Uganda Cranes Ambassador, also nominee for the 2017 prestigious HiPipo Music Awards Artiste of the Year Bebe Cool is set to release a brand new Uganda Cranes theme song titled Lumba.
The song comes at a time when Uganda Cranes is playing at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2017) currently underway in Gabon. The last time Uganda was at AFCON was in 1978 and the Cranes lost the finals to Ghana. In its first match played yesterday, 17th January 2017, Uganda Cranes again lost to Ghana. The Cranes will face Egypt on Saturday and Mali on Tuesday.
Lumba by Bebe Cool.
The song is aimed at energizing the Uganda Cranes that no matter what happens, they must keep pushing and aiming higher. Bebe Cool has been one of the very few artistes who have unconditionally and publicly supported Uganda Cranes doing both good and very bad times. Lumba when translated in English means attack.
While confirming this development, Bebe Cool noted via Facebook; “Will be releasing a UGANDA CRANES ANTHEM titled LUMBA. In this one I urge my team to push forward despite the hardships/criticism and not to worry even if we fall. As long as we can stand up again and again coz when Uganda stands, it stands TALL. Therefore UGANDA CRANES lumba lumba lumba lumba lumba lumba lumba lumba lumba… We are champions.”
As soon as the song is out, you will be the first to listen to it here.
