The 2016 Masaka Street Jam, dubbed the Club Mega Fest went down on Saturday at Edward Avenue, Masaka Town.
Organised by MUTIMA Events and sponsored by Club Beer, the concert took excitement and fun to the southern district of Uganda with several big names such as Big Eye, Gravity, Sheebah aka Queen of the Area and Nubian Li among others performing. A group of comedians was also at the concert and they did their part in making the audience laugh.
However, once again, it were Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Chameleone that stole the show. The three, long time big names in the music industry and extremely talented artistes squared off at the Masaka Street Jam with each giving his best and letting the fans decide who is the better performer.
At the end, it was not clear who was the crowd’s favorite as each of the three artistes got a very loud applause from the audience while performing. This only meant that the fans love the three artistes everyday. And also, each of the three is big in his own way.
Masaka Street Jam is an annual music event held in Masaka. The 2016 edition was the third in a row.
