When Jamaican dancehall superstar Konshens arrived in the pearl of Africa for today’s concert, Jose Chameleone became his host with the two moving in the same convoy from Enttebbe to Kampala.

At a press conference, one journalist asked if Konshens would be able to record a song with Chameleone, since he (Konshens) had talked of both countries (Jamaica and Uganda) celebrating 50years of independence this year.

Konshens with no hesitation answered, "why not?"

After the press conference, Jose Chameleone and Konshens went to Serena hotel were they agreed on doing a duet.

In no time, Jose Chameleone’s team had already assembled a mobile studio in one of the Serena hotel suits, where the recording of the collaboration between the two was done with all the recording sessions filmed on camera.

During the recording which was attended by a member of HiPipo.com news team, Konshens seemed to be calm and enjoyed every bit of it as the spirit and language of music connected him to the Moto Moto star.

Jose Chameleone was in high spirit of the collaboration and promising that it would be a massive international hit.

Meanwhile, AK47, Chameleone’s young brother also enjoyed the day. He was able to convince Darrio, Konshens’ main support musician to feature his new song ghetto love.

As soon as Darrio heard AK47’s vibe, he just got on the microphone and asked "turn up the sound up."

“The public should just wait for the Ghetto love song from AK and I because with no doubt it’s going to get everyone dancing,” Darrio said.

Chameleone earlier at the press conference had given Konshens a gift of the Ugandan flag as a welcoming gesture to the pearl of Africa. Konshens said he was to take it to his house back home.
