Desire was born in a family of seven children, six girls where she happens to be the fourth among girls and one brother.  

Desire Luzinda attended Buganda Road Primary school just about 2 km from her place of birth. Here Desire did too much for her life and it was at Buganda Road Primary school that she discovered her singing talent.  Desire Luzinda never missed out for any choir at school and performances of speech days since she liked fun and did music for fun.

Desire then joined Omega College for her O’ Level. While at Omega College, Desire exhibited a high level of talent and was so much admired by the students at the school, Desire thought she could go back to Omega College for her A’ level but this was not possible since she was not born to die from Omega. In A ‘Level, Desire joined Makerere High School a school also just kilometers away from her home. Here she began doing music with other friends, and started performing on some gospel events that were running in town and at Makerere Full Gospel Church. Desire is an economist that took a Degree in Micro Finance course for her University.

Desire‘s love touch and sound of music could be evidence  to trace for the stars that inspire her musically like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston who are well known for this kind of music.
