Stella Nantumbwe Crowned Miss Uganda, Nakimera Excited Crowd

As Stella Nantumbwe battled out with the likes of Sandra Amoding and Anita Kyarimpa among other Miss Uganda 2013/14 finalists, Grace Nakimera and Juju were up for a challenge the make big statements at this annual event that was attended by hundreds of corporates at Kampala Serena hotel.

Performing songs like Ntandika, Sexy and Mpola Mpola among others, along with highly skilled energetic dancers, the singers who had just returned from a Rwanda event proved to all revellers that they are incomparable at what they know best.

Being known for some of the best choreographed videos in the land, the Grace and Juju did not disappoint, they put at a memorable performance!

At the beauty side, 22-year old Miss Uganda Central region, Stella Nantumbwe was crowned Miss Uganda 2013/2014 after convincingly winning 21 other contestants. 

Anita Kyarimpa, former Miss Hi Skool Kadanke was crowned 1st runner up whereas Sandrah Amoding took the second runner up spot. 

Stella was awarded a brand new Mercedes Benz ‘A’ Class and a monthly allowance amounting UGX 1.5m for the next twelve months while the first and second runners up are also entitled to UGX 1m and UGX 500,000 monthly allowance for the next twelve months respectively.

Miss Uganda 2013/14’s journey to stardom started on May 25 at Mari Floor bar in Masaka when Stella beat 17 girls to take the Miss Central crown – directly making it to the finals. Stella is a graduate of business computing from Greenwich University of South East London. Her confidence, intelligence and beauty made her stand out compared to other contestants.
