It’s both a fast moving and very active New Year. Next week, it will be March for those that are not following the calendar.

Musicians are busy in studios recording what they believe will be their best songs for 2013. Others have already released a few songs and they are already rocking the market.

As part of HiPipo Music Awards (HMA) 2014, we are pleased to bring you the weekly top 10 videos and audios as watched and listened too respectively by you the fans.

These are songs that you the fans continue to watch and listen to online via HiPipo video section and HiPipo radio plus other  social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and twitter among others.

HMA 2013 best Zouk song winner (Valu Valu) Jose Chameleone is leading the video section with two sections. These are Badilisha and Gimme Gimme featuring Nigerian star Dotstar.

Emron (also winner in HMA 2013 for best gospel song; Body guard featuring Sizzaman) is in number 3 with his video Number Emu.

Following the successful inaugural HMA grand event held on February 9, 2013 at Theatre La Bonita, sponsored by Pepsi, WBS and The Red Pepper, The 2nd HiPipo Music Awards (HMA) 2014, Uganda’s Biggest Musical Night, will be held on February 8, 2014. Nomination for The 2nd HiPipo Music Awards will open in October 2013 and close in November 2014. To be considered for nomination artists are encouraged to ensure their music is commercially available for Radio and TV and online at HiPipo.com.
