Bayimba culture foundation, a not for profit organization that has been in service since 27th November 2007 is to cerebrate five years of service. The celebrations will be held between 21st -23rd September at National theatre.
This will be during the annual Bayimba international festival of art at the National theatre.
Speaking to Hipipo.com from their new home at Kenneth dale drive Kamwokya, the Bayimba hip-hop coordinator Sylvester Kabombo said: “This time, it won’t be free as it has been. Rather, everyone will have to pay 1000 shs per day.”
Kabombo says these five years are worthy to be cerebrated because of the wide range of achievements they have registered through the many activities like the Bayimba international festival held since 2008, Bayimba regional festivals, culture workshops, photography workshops, music training workshops, youth and hip-hop workshops among other things.
